Our mentors come from a variety of backgrounds.
Amardeep Parmar, former tech consultant, was Medium’s second-fastest writer to reach 50,000 followers. As co-editor of Entrepreneur’s Handbook, he manages over a million monthly views. Inspired by his late father’s legacy of supporting small businesses, Amardeep launched Bae HQ to create meaningful impact through storytelling.
Aynsley Bernard founded the data science team at Kooth, applying machine learning to drive research and product innovation. Key projects include COVID-19 engagement insights, an NLP-based content moderation tool, personalized content initiatives, and developing a session outcome measure for adults using NLP.
Edoardo Tovaglieri helps UK startups solve challenges using Google Cloud tools and products, guiding them on technical growth. As a Program Manager with Google Brain Amplification, he also supports advancements in machine learning research.
Giulio Capodimonti founded Deepgears, a VC-backed fashion tech startup enabling online shoppers to virtually try on garments in 3D. Using digital avatars with exact body measurements, Deepgears offers an innovative shopping experience that personalizes fit and style for each customer.
James Jeffrey is the Product and Domain Lead for the Payments Platform at Airwallex, a Sequoia-backed fintech valued at $5.5 billion as of October 2022.
Ka Ling Wu is the co-founder of Upsolve AI, a Y Combinator-backed startup helping high-growth companies offer customer-facing analytics and reporting. Upsolve quickly builds customizable analytics dashboards, allowing customers to answer specific data questions with AI-powered insights.
Louis Jordan is a Y Combinator founder, developer, and product builder. He founded Quary, an open-source Business Intelligence platform, and has a background engineering financial systems at Amazon. Louis is passionate about web development and entrepreneurship, sharing his knowledge through talks and educational content for developers.
Ruben Tadmor is the Head of Business Development and Co-founder of The Supplant Company (Y Combinator S18), where he leads go-to-market and growth strategies for B2B ingredient sales across food service and CPG channels. He oversees brand partnerships, marketing, and PR, and has supported fundraising from pre-seed through Series A.
Thiago Fontes is a UX Researcher with a strong record of success, having worked with major brands like WhatsApp (Meta), Apple, Spotify, and Netflix. He led research initiatives for WhatsApp Payments in Brazil and India, driving impactful insights for these markets.
Vitaly Zakalskiy is an LSE and LBS graduate with expertise in social impact, consulting, risk advisory, and venture capital. He has a strong focus on geopolitics, macroeconomics, and emerging markets, with a particular interest in impact-driven investing, where he seeks to combine financial growth with positive societal change.
Will Bennett is an investor at Seedcamp, Europe's leading seed fund, with a portfolio that includes companies like UiPath, Wise, Revolut, and Pleo. He has previously worked at Fuse Energy, BCG, and Cambridge University, bringing expertise in scaling startups and investing in high-growth ventures across multiple sectors.
Alex Saunders works in Venture & Growth at HSBC Ventures, supporting companies from Series A to pre-IPO. With prior experience in Equity Finance at BofAML, M&A at Nomura, and Big Tech at Qualcomm, Alex combines technical skills in development (PHP, JS, Python) with marketing expertise, amassing 100k+ followers on social media.
Ayelen Denovitzer, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, is an experienced founder and former leader at Revolut. As CEO of Solvo, she led a $3.5M seed round to simplify crypto investing. She later co-founded Qubit Wallet, pioneering a non-custodial Web3 wallet tailored for gamers through advanced account abstraction.
Dipika Sawhney is a results-driven leader with a record of scaling technology businesses, exceeding revenue targets, and managing Forbes 100 CXO partnerships. Recognized as a Top 100 Tech Woman UK, she’s known for building and transforming businesses, and excelling in customer acquisition, P&L management and mentoring.
Elif Sancak is a startup accelerator and investment expert with a background in Computing Sciences. She has mentored over 900 early-stage tech startups globally, organizing events to connect founders with investors and industry leaders. Elif is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs driving digital disruption and creating successful businesses.
Giuseppe Battista leads early-stage startup solutions architecture at AWS UKIR and hosts a startup-focused show on Twitch at twitch.tv/aws, where he shares insights and resources for new founders.
James Massey, now at Google, leads cloud innovation strategies for web3 and AI in the UK and Ireland, focusing on technical scaling and go-to-market plans. Previously, he founded Lifestylecard, exited, spent four years at AWS, and now supports Degen Distillery, a web3-driven startup disrupting the drinks industry.
Kosta Kolev is an accomplished startup mentor and product coach, known for organizing the first-ever hackathon on a plane and helping MIT establish an innovation lab in Hong Kong. At BCG Digital Ventures, he has supported 30+ startups like Atfarm and MachineMax. He’s also the CEO of Calliper, an analytics platform, and the author of the Investor Relations Field Guide.
Ollie George leads Sequoia's Go-To-Market (GTM) network in Europe, helping outlier founders build strong leadership teams. Previously an executive recruiter at Google, he focused on GTM leadership for Google Cloud in EMEA. Ollie also mentored startups in Google for Startups' accelerator, collaborating with the UN on high-potential African tech ventures.
Sophia Draper is an emerging leader in venture and innovation, with experience as a Visiting Analyst at Antler and a former Venture Scout at Baby VC. While pursuing her Master’s in Social Innovation and Development at LSE, she won VISA's Sprint Week competition, securing first place among 18 teams for her vision on the future of cashless payments.
Uzay Macar is the co-founder and CTO of Heba Care, a digital health startup supporting individuals with developmental differences. He also co-leads Aiphabet, a nonprofit focused on K-12 AI education. With a background in healthcare tech and a degree from Columbia University, Uzay has a passion for innovation in startup environments and mentoring emerging entrepreneurs.
Vlad Niculescu is the CEO and co-founder of Flowpoint, a platform designed to optimize website conversion rates for marketing teams. Prior to Flowpoint, he led QwertyBit, a software agency specializing in mobile and web app development. Vlad also participated in the Entrepreneur First accelerator, supported by top investors like Reid Hoffman and the Collison brothers.
Zoë Webster is an experienced AI strategy advisor. She led BT’s AI Centre of Enablement, which she built from the ground up, driving the deployment of AI and data science across the business. Previously, Zoë worked at Innovate UK, where she led teams to accelerate UK innovation in AI, manufacturing, and emerging technologies.
