Programme Executive

As a Programme Lead, you will work with a team to plan and execute Kickstart’s Incubation Programme. This includes building the programme's timeline, organizing team formation and planning workshops for the start-ups and helping them on their journey. You will be working closely with the Events and Partnerships team as well as the Mentorship team to execute exciting events for the cohort alongside ensuring mentorship is provided throughout the programme for each start-up. Meeting industry experts through workshops and mentorships and working closely with the cohort expands your network and experience within the start-up space.

Interests / Skills / Experiences:

●  Interest and/or experience in the start-up space

●  Although not required, ideally experience with or knowledge about start-up accelerators

●  Organizational and communication skills

●  Passion for supporting peers in building their ventures

●  Client relations and outreach

Roles and Responsibilities:

#1 Team Dynamics

● Communicate updates to the Incubation cohort and address any queries or concerns as needed

● Work closely with the marketing team to provide support for the programme's marketing and with the mentorship team to ensure mentors are engaged and mentoring sessions run smoothly

● Communicate with Kickstart point of contacts (who are committee members from Kickstart assigned to each team), collect feedback, and track progress

● Track attendance for mentoring sessions and workshops and regularly follow up with teams

● Ensure all teams benefit from incubation program resources and maintain a single master page or other format for easy access to workshop materials and programme information

#2 Workshops

● Curate the timeline, topics and content of the workshops

● Work with the team to reach out to founders, VCs and other industry professionals to lead the workshops

● Communicate with partner venues for in-person workshops

● Responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the workshops (along with getting feedback from teams to see what could be improved)

● Coordinating with venues months in advance

● Work closely with the programme director to create database of potential speakers, VCs, organising demo day
